•Born 07/10/1961 in Verona, Italy. Married with two children.
•1979 - Attended English language course at Anglo World Education Ltd, Bournemouth, UK.
•1980 - Obtained Scientific Diploma at the Scientific High School ‘G. Fracastoro’ in Verona
•Graduated from Padova University presenting thesis: ‘Scheuermann’s Disease: clinical considerations and radiological and biomechanical studies’ (Clinical supervisor: Prof. C. Ferraro)
•December 1990 - passed entrance exam for the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Postgraduate Residency Program of Verona University (Programme Director: Prof. G De Bastiani). Obtained specialisation in Orthopaedics and Traumatology on 17/07/95 with honours, discussing thesis entitled: ‘Shoulder Prosthesis’ (clinical supervisor: Prof. P. Bartolozzi, assistant supervisor: Prof. L. Nogarin)
•1999 - Obtained a Master in Shoulder Surgery from the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
•01/03/93 - Employed in the position of assistant physician in a fellowship program in Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Vicenza Hospital (Head Prof. L. Nogarin). Continued to assist, uninterrupted, until 03/05/2004, participating in all activities of the hospital unit and obtained a senior role on 01/11/93. 
•Worked in the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Department at the ‘Cliniche Humanitas Gavazzeni’ in Bergamo, Italy, Consultant Dr. Alessandro Castagna.
•Worked as Head of Shoulder and Elbow Unit at Clinica Castelli in Bergamo, Italy
•Currently Head of Shoulder and Elbow Unit at casa di Cura san Francesco in Bergamo, Italy
•Since july 2018 works at Istituto Auxologico - Clinica Capitanio di Milano
